Born for Hard Luck

The incredible 1976 short documentary "Born for Hard Luck" by Tom Davenport, which is a portrait of Arthur "Peg Leg Sam" Jackson, is now available in its entirety on the web. You might recognize most of this clip from the Jean-Pierre Jeunet film Amélie. There are still plenty of places in the US that look like this, and still heaps of people living in these conditions. Sheesh.
