Sofa Kingdom conquers Frank's

In what could be regarded as interleague play, Johnny Goodtimes quizzo champs Sofa Kingdom (get it?! get it?!) handed all the usual Dirty Frank's contenders their heads this Wednesday, and notched the second-best effort in the history of this format. The team name is an old pun but I like my girlfriend's take on it better: a play off of Ottoman Empire. Here the lads are in all their glory:
It was a high-scoring affair and we had to overcome some audio troubles and three shouted answers by miscreants, but at the end of the day I believe this quiz is moving in the right direction. Stop, Drop & Roll finished in second by less than a single question with the second-highest non-winning score ever, and the frustration continues for Boris the Spider, who are perpetual contenders but have yet to win. Group W failed to place for the first time, and might even have to spend money on alcohol next week. Shocker!
